What is Dognomics?

Dognomics is the dog DNA test jointly developed by Clinomics and Clinomics USA. The two companies also have a variety of genomics-based products including our own human DNA tests and a COVID-19 molecular test that has received EUA authorization from the FDA. The Dognomics name is to emphasize the focus of this test entirely on dogs.

What is the difference between Clinomics USA and Clinomics?

The Dognomics dog DNA test is sold and supported by Clinomics USA Inc., a US company based in Irvine, California. The testing is all conducted in our laboratory in Irvine enabling a fast turnaround time.

Much of the development of the Dognomics test, including world class bioinformatics (“how to get the breed and health results from the DNA data”), comes from our parent company, Clinomics Inc. They are headquartered in South Korea. Clinomics developed and sells direct to consumer human DNA testing in Asia with a focus on health. The same care required for providing human DNA test results is applied to your dog’s test.
